Alston Yard Landscaping is built on generations of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the land. The company began in 1983 as Johnny’s Sons Tree Service and Lawn, founded by Johnny’s father, who passed down the skills, work ethic, and respect for quality craftsmanship that still define our work today. In 2005, Johnny took over the business and expanded it into a full-service landscaping operation, combining real-world field knowledge with formal training in agriculture and landscaping from NC State University. That foundation allows us to deliver professional earth moving, landscape installation, and property enhancement services that are both practical and visually impactful.

After working with multiple landscaping companies and learning firsthand how differently each approached the same work, Johnny built Alston Yard Landscaping around doing things better—more efficiently, more consistently, and with higher standards. Today, we serve commercial and residential properties with dependable service, clear communication, and results that elevate the look and function of every space.
